Our modern lifestyle has ushered in the “Epidemics of Affluence” such as Skin Cancer and Melanoma from our increased leisure and sun time, as well as Heart Attacks, Blood Pressure, Strokes, Diabetes 2, Obesity, mostly due to how our food has altered and what we now eat. These and the pace of work and life lead to Stress and Depression.

Initially, in having you Skin Cancer Check, you can also assess if you feel you need any further medical reviews. Frequently the appearance of our skin can also reflect what is going on internally. As with Skin Cancer, many other very dangerous illnesses can be prevented. As such we can also offer the latest checks, not only for your skin, but right through to your coronary arteries and beyond, if you want a Complete Check Up (CCU).
All our programs are supervised by Dr Mileham Hayes OAM, MB, BS (Q), FRCP (Edin), FRCP (Lon). Dr Hayes, by studying and practising in Brisbane, Sydney, London and Edinburgh brings and extensive breadth of experience now denied the recent medical graduate.
Dr Hayes is the Author of many books covering all aspects of Preventive Medicine from Skin Cancer to Heart Disease (our greatest killer). These are available for purchase and he also conducts Seminars, Workshops and Lectures. They represent ‘the culled expertise of the worlds best medical practices’.
We are conveniently located just opposite the Princess Alexandra Hospital on Ipswich Road , Buranda and only five minutes from the city, close to the famous “Gabba Cricket Ground”. Access is easy with four levels of parking available above the centre, all major bus routes stopping right outside our front door and the Buranda Train Station close by.
